Trans and Gender-Diverse Folks
Therapy for Trans & Gender-Diverse Adults
This therapy space isn’t just LGBTQIA+ friendly. It’s built with gender-diverse people in mind. Whether you're trans, non-binary, gender-questioning, or somewhere else entirely, you're welcome to show up exactly as you are. No masking, no shrinking, no over-explaining yourself required.
I’m warm, neurodivergent-friendly, deeply affirming, and maybe a little too enthusiastic about the metaphors I use in session. (If you want to talk about gender as a collage, a second puberty, or an RPG character build, I’m game.)
If your trans experience doesn’t look like anyone else’s, that’s not a problem, that’s the point. You don’t have to come in with a script. Whether you’re loud and proud, quiet and questioning, angry, tender, hilarious, or just really, really tired, I’ll meet you where you are.

Who I Work With
I work with trans and gender-diverse adults navigating:
Gender exploration and identity questions
Coming out at any age (yep, even 30s, 40s, or later — it’s never too late)
Social and/or medical transition support
Dysphoria (gendered, social, somatic — all kinds)
Intersectional experiences (race, disability, neurodivergence, trauma)
Navigating family relationships and boundaries
Deconstructing internalised transphobia
Being nonbinary in a binary world (or just being trans in a very loud cis world)
Grief, joy, and weird in-between feelings during transition
Wanting to not talk about gender all the time, and just exist
Dating while trans (the good, the bad, the absolutely bizarre)
“Do I need to know everything about myself already?” (spoiler: no.)
Whether you're newly out or long out, binary or not, looking to talk about gender a lot or only sometimes — we’ll work in a way that centres your needs.
Some of What We Might Explore in Therapy
How to build a life that’s yours, not just “survivable”
What gender actually feels like in your body, not just what you were told it should be
Grief, joy, euphoria, rage, and how messy and beautiful they all are
Navigating medical stuff (if that’s part of your journey) with less shame and more self-trust
Untangling internalised transphobia, perfectionism, or people-pleasing
Finding joy in expression, pronouns, and presentation, not just surviving the system
Unpacking the “okay I’m out... now what?” moments
Choosing your own definition of freedom, softness, strength, and visibility
Some people come to explore identity. Others come because of anxiety, OCD, burnout, or disordered eating. I don’t assume your gender is the problem. But if it’s part of the story, we’ll hold that with care. We can also just talk about your day, your cat, or how weirdly gendered stationery is.
